Yerong Creek Estate
Barwon is home to Yerong Creek Estate, one of the districts most promising wineries. The winery was all but wiped in 1997 when a devastating bushfire destroyed 90% of the vineyard.
Rob and Julie Yates replanted vines in the following year. Chardonnay and Shiraz grapes have been used to produce a range of wine styles each year since the first vintage in 2000.
